A pre-sanzen sit. At the moment I sit on a chair, and I’m wary to moving to the floor. Invariably, I end up with dead legs. That’s fine during zazen, but it makes it hard to stand afterwards. I gather this can be remedied by slightly adjusting posture to avoid constricting blood vessels or nerves. I’ll be sitting with a group in person for the first time in October, I hope. I’ll get help with my posture then. For now I’ve been told to stay in my chair.
